Miguel Belchior is the founder and director of Digital Ortho Lab. He has led an orthodontic laboratory in Portugal for more than 20 years and has developed deep expertise in the design, production and digital transformation of orthodontic appliances.
He was trained in one of Italy's leading orthodontic environments, alongside Mariano Zocche, where he strengthened his understanding of advanced orthodontic appliance design and complex treatment workflows.
Over the years, Miguel has provided training and consulting across Europe, helping laboratories master digital orthodontics, improve their CAD/CAM workflows and adopt new technologies with confidence.
Today, he is especially focused on the impact of artificial intelligence in orthodontic design. He works with different digital tools on the market and collaborates with Ai4Dental to explore the future of AI-assisted orthodontic workflows.
